Tuppen is a beautiful big red dunTsjalle daughter that we couldn't pass up joining our program. Her lineage going back to the import stallions Mogly and Felix is not uncommon in our program, however, both stallions have proven to cross exceptionally well with our stallions and we have no doubt that Tuppen fit right in.

Even though Tuppen is a red dun filly (and at least grey recessive coming from Tsjalle), we have decided to breed her to Siljar in 2024. We just LOVE our Tsjalle x Siljar x Bluebird Lane Griffon (Felix) filly and have now one last chance to cross the stallions the other way. Our other 2021 Tsjalle daughters, who will be breeding for their first time in 2024 as well, are both white duns so that makes the cross with Siljar undesirable.
We are also excited to cross Tuppen in the future with other up and coming studs.
Tuppen is confirmed in foal to Siljar for 2025!
We are excited to be having this lovely girl in our program! We wanted to refrain from purchasing offspring from our stallions from mare lines we like, due to bad experiences in the past. After purchasing a nice Tsjalle daughter, we weren't prepared for the controlling nature of her breeders over us and the projection of their own personality characteristics onto her.
As such, we can't even express our gratitude to Tuppen's breeder for her exceptional upbringing & handling and offering this beautiful young mare back to us. She really embodies the quality breeding we are trying to produce with our stallions and fits perfectly into our herd.
Tuppen's dam is a big bodied leggy mare with a beautiful head and good movement. Her sire is the German import stallion Mogly making her a half sister to our very own Megan. Having had experience with quite a number of Mogly offspring during the the years, we appreciate the breed character and athleticism he puts on to his foals. Tuppen's great-grandsire on her dam's side is the Norwegian import stallion Felix. Felix has been an amazing producer of pretty heads and it's no secret that a lot of our broodmare go back to him in some way, which includes Greta, Zelda, DD Grå Perle, LVG Faksi, DD Finja and DD Flora.
