Tsjalle

Seeing Tsjalle in Germany, we immediately fell in love with this stunning boy, who nonetheless has a typical Fjord temperament combined with a graceful exterior. He is a fabulous horse to ride and work with and has excelled in his training and performance. 

Tsjalle has an extraordinary pedigree, 98% of his ancestors needed to be entered in the NFHR database when he got registered... making him extremely unique in North America!

In addition to being unique in North America, the quality of his ancestors is very high with all stallions in the first three generations being Prämienhengste and five Staatsprämien mares in the first three Generations!

We have been impressed with seeing some of his offspring in Europe, who are highly regarded in many European countries. Tsjalle improves upon movement and passes his uncomplicated nature to his foals, making him a great choice for a variety of mares. 

Besides his beautiful grey color, he is also red recessive, so can be a boon for anyone looking to produce some color in addition to the quality. 

We have been more than pleased with his first foals in North America and since we have acquired our own herd of Tsjalle daughters and therefore guaranteed that his genetics are going forward in our program, it's time to actually enjoy this fabulous horse exclusively to our own interests.  

Tsjalle had his last breeding season in 2022, which was also his first competition season. He attended 7 in person shows (2 schooling and 5 USDF recognized), including the USDF Regional Championships and NW Rainier Championships at Training level. A particular highlight from the 2022 season was his first First Level debut showing off his lengthening trot and earing first place and a score over 66%. 

In 2023 Tsjalle qualified for USDF Regional Championships and NW Rainier Championships at Training and First Level. He earned scores up to 70% at Training Level and up to 67% at First Level 3 and 69% at First Level 1. 

Tsjalle was USDF All Breeds AA First Level Champion and USDF All Breeds Open First Level Reserve Champion in 2023!
