Tess is a beautiful white dun filly out of Tsjalle! Her mother is a half sister to our stallion Siljar. It's awesome to see the first cross between two of our stud lines. This girl definitely comes after her sire in movement, disposition and conformation.
Tess is the first foal combining the genetics from two of our stallions. Therefore, we are planning on crossing her with Gio in the future. They are not just very complementary in their conformation and disposition, but the movement could be spectacular with this cross!
We are excited to be having this lovely girl in our program! Dan imported her grandsire Skogheims Viljar from Norway and owned her granddam LHF Jasmine (not at the same time though), but has really liked the product out of this cross. Jasmine is a smaller longer mare with impressive movement, suppleness and breed character. Tess' dam Hosanna has more bone and better feet than Jasmine and the cross with Tsjalle made it even more "horsey". Tsjalle added the length of leg and make Tess more refined in build.
Besides the white color coming down from Viljar, Tess received both the red and grey gene as a recessive from Tsjalle.
