Zelda
Zelda is another gorgeous mare that Dan bred and we are happy to have back in the program. She is a 3/4 sister to Greta and with her super high quality pedigree, lovely sporty movement, clean throat latch, she is just perfect to join our program!

Foals
Zelda had 6 foals already including a stunning white dun colt out of our stallion Siljar, a big framed 2022 filly by Willow's Bjorn with Zinnia and two fancy moving colts with DD Gian in 2023 and DD Gin in 2024 by Gio.
In 2024, Zelda decided she didn't want to be bred back to Siljar and despite our efforts didn't settle in foal to him. However, she took on the first try to Gio again. The third time was apparently the charm and she produced a fantastic red dun filly with DD Zaria, who we will be retaining.
Zelda is confirmed in foal to DD Tjasse for 2026!
Zelda is a lovely red dun mare who perfectly fits into our program to achieve our breeding goals. We absolutely love the bloodlines and are thrilled to have another gorgeous mare sired by Bluebird Lane Griffon in our program. Griffon passed on his wonderful refined head, roundness over the hip and his super sweet, willing and personal disposition. On the other side of the pedigree we have Peppertree's Christian (sire of Ani), who was an amazing mover and Anvil's Morgan (grandsire to Greta and Jorun), who helped put on her clean throat latch.
Zelda did not get much training over her formative years and will mainly be used as a broodmare in our program. We are planning on eventually retiring Greta from the broodmare band to use her mostly for riding and for Zelda to fill this gap in the breeding program.
